Ensemble (based at Lancaster University) is an umbrella initiative examining the role of technology in supporting a new kind of environmental science, that is a science that is open, integrated and collaborative, involving data scientists, computer scientists, experts in communication and also earth and environmental sciences.
The Team are looking at a series of areas (sprints) where they want to see if and how technology can help the environment, coming up with innovative solutions to some of the problems in that sector, working with various industry stakeholders.
My involvement is to create a final overview of each sprint for targeting potential stakeholders (commercial, governmental, non-governmental), policy makers, peers and also the general public.
