Ellicar is an award-winning Natural Pool and Landscape company. From start to finish, every pool is tailored to each client. This brief was to showcase a Natural Pool and Landscaping project from concept to completion.
One of the main challenges was time and content. What parts of the process to film and how long the final film was going to be.
We decided to create a YouTube Mini-Series. Breaking the process up into small chunks for a weekly release would bring more viewers back to the channel and encourage them to subscribe to follow the build.
There are numerous makeover shows, but in the UK, garden makeovers tend to adhere to a specific style. We aimed to create something more akin to 'Grand Designs' and document the progress. We then created short episodes, which we released weekly for the audience to follow, with short promos for Ellicar to use on social media.
Along with filming, we also documented the process with photography.
This series provides genuine insight for potential clients and other interested parties into what a project like this will look like, how long it will take, and the quality of their work.
The series is evergreen content, not just for YouTube but also for their website. It's more detailed than a reel or a photo can convey, and more engaging than reading a lot of text.
